Bank Sentence

A former Royal Bank employee in Nova Scotia has been ordered to pay restitution of more than 500-thousand dollars to the branch in Antigonish. Sharon Louise Tonet, who pleaded guilty to making false documents, has also been given a conditional sentence of two years less a day. The 45-year-old Tonet has been ordered to serve 18 months of house arrest, followed by six months of curfew and two years' probation. She was manager of client care in Antigonish between 1994 and 2007.
