C-F-18 Not coming

The Canadian Forces C-F-18 demo team won't be performing in Atlantic Canada this summer -- or anywhere else for that matter. The recent crash of one of the jets in Alberta has forced the cancellation of all C-F-18 air show performances for the rest of the year -- and that includes the Shearwater, Nova Scotia air show on September 11th and 12th. The pilot of the jet that crashed hurt his back when he bailed out and it seems a replacement can't be trained in time to safely continue this year's scheduled performances.
